Re: INSPIRE.Sat 7 in orbit on 11 April 2023, be ready for it!
Dear Fabio
Informations for Hamradio are available on the project page : http://inspiresat7.projet.latmos.ipsl.fr you can find information for telemetry interpretation on the site.
Telemetry data document is available : http://inspiresat7.projet.latmos.ipsl.fr/pdf/INSPIRESAT7-IF-LAT-0080_TM%20Pl... - katai.io in open source file is also provided for data intepretation ( https://code.electrolab.fr/xtof/telemetrydescription/-/tree/master/Inspire-S... )
Tools (open source tool kisstool) and dashboard are also provided : https://amsat.electrolab.fr/spa/#/Satellite/InspireSat-7 & grafana : https://amsat.electrolab.fr/grafana/d/gac7N2aVk/inspire-sat-7?orgId=1
In InspireSat 7, there are also the hamradio open source AMSAT-F/Electrolab SPINO Board for validation : https://code.electrolab.fr/spino/cubesat_cs
The Latmos/ InspireSat 7 team will be in the 6th "Rencontre Spatial Radioamateur" for sharing return of expérience and exchange with Hamradio community ( https://site.amsat-f.org/2023/03/12/rencontre-spatial-radioamateur-13-et-14-... ) . You are welcome to come and exchange with them.
I'am not sure that all coordinated satellite projects provide this level of information.
Do not hesitate to contact me if you want more information.

Hi!
I was just wondering if detailed description of TM (calibrations) is available also for hams. It would be an opportunity for the ham community to dig a little bit in the mission rather then just being a telemetry relay.
thank you,
Fabio, IZ5XRC

Dear all
The INSPIRE-Sat 7 satellite is scheduled to be launched on the SpaceX Transporter 7 mission on 11 April 2023 at 06:48 UTC . The INSPIRE-Sat 7 satellite is a university project carried out by the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin en Yvelines (France) on behalf of LATMOS (UVSQ, Sorbonne University, Université Paris Saclay, CNRS).
This satellite is a demonstrator for experimenting new technologies with a strong involvement of students. This satellite allows the experimentation of miniaturized remote sensing sensors that could be used for multi-point observation of essential climate variables (ECV) and the ionosphere.
INSPIRE-Sat 7 carries :
- *A 435.200 MHz telemetry channel with BPSK mode - GR3UH 9k6*
- An FM transponder with an uplink of 145.830 MHz and a downlink of
435.200 MHz. The FM transponder is expected to be active at least twice a month, depending on the satellite power budget.
- The SPINO card that will be activated for experimentation
To receive the telemetry, a software has been developed: *KissTool* . It is available for Windows & Linux:
Linux: https://site.amsat-f.org/download/118791/?tmstv=1680945385
Windows : https://site.amsat-f.org/download/118784/?tmstv=1680945385
The user manual is available in French ( https://site.amsat-f.org/josast-kisstool/ ) and English ( https://code.electrolab.fr/xtof/josast/-/blob/27-new-application-for-spino/A... https://code.electrolab.fr/xtof/josast/-/blob/27-new-application-for-spino/ApplicationKissTool/src/site/markdown/UserManual.md )

Dear Cristople, I really thank you, you're right this project provides a lot of information unlike many others.
I think to some recent missions for example, they would not share detailed info and it is a pity from my point of view. In the pas ham radio community was great in launching and operating spacecrafts.
Anyway, I will ask some friends to contribute to the project by collecting as much TM as possible. Your mission is really interesting also for the HF studies.
Wish good luck to all of you,
Fabio iz5xrc
