Does anyone know how to track Artemis 1 during the next few days.? Tracking the moon is fairly straightforward, but trying to locate the cubesat signals on 70cm during the flight there probably needs some dedicated tracking software. Maybe some resource online?

I was hoping someone had a place for this. A buddy of mine with his telescope tracked the Web telescope all the way to it's parking place was cool.

The link shows Artemis is on its way while it is still on its launch pad at this time. I guess this will be corrected when it does actually launch.

The Jet Propulsion Laboratory Horizons system will do what you need, including specific trajectories for the cubesats.

So you can use e.g. "OMOTENASHI" as the "Target Body" in

The web app is a little klunky, but it will give you the accurate pointing data you need

I quickly changed the target and set my location and it looks good to go. https://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/horizons/app.html#/ The AROW visualisation isn't fully up and running prior to launch, but appears to be aimed at the relataive position of the mission to the Earth and Moon. Still, worth checking after 1817 UTC today. It does have some nice graphics.
Looking at the link budget, the PSK 31 from OMOTENASHI should be receivable with a modest system out to 100,000km. After that antenna gain and noise figure become increasingly important. Fingers crossed. Lets hope the sticky valve is fixed. 73 David

You can use the DSN module of the PstRotator program. The program automatically download the necessary files from Horizons and use them to control the rotator and the radio with Doppler corrections.
At this moment the ephemeris are not yet available, but these will be at a short time after a successfully launch.
The step size of ephemeris is 1 minute, but the program will update the az/el and frequency at every 1 second interpolating the info from Horizon files. Codrut - YO3DMU

Indeed JPL's Horizons System is the easiest option to use for tracking the Artemis 1 mission objects.
Do not try to track these objects using TLEs and your favorite satellite tracking program. That will not work. TLEs are only usable in combination with the SGP4/SDP4 model, which is used in all our usual satellite tracking programs. But SGP4/SDP4 only produces useful tracking results for objects in Earth orbit at altitudes of no more than some 50000 km. For deep space, so e.g. for missions to the Moon, you need a different type of parameters, e.g. State Vectors, and different tracking software, e.g. GMAT. State Vectors will be made available for the Artemis 1 mission objects. Preliminary State Vectors for Orion are available: https://www.nasa.gov/sites/default/files/atoms/files/orion_oem_20220903_v1_l... Of course these will change when the launch date/time change. You can also generate up-to-date State Vectors in Horizons System.
