Since several people were having good luck using the ISS repeater, I decided to put the frequences into my computer. While I am there, I was decided to add the crew contact frequencies, but.... what do regions 1,2/3 mean?

Region 1: Europe, Middle East, Africa, North Asia
Region 2&3: North and South America, Caribbean, Greenland, Australia, South Asia
