Recently, Microsoft released a security bulletin describing a vulnerability that can be exploited by a specially crafted PDF file attached to a regular email. Since Windows Malware Protection Engine software scans incoming files automatically, the attack could succeed even if the targeted victim does not interact with the malicious PDF file.

This particular vulnerability may also be exploited by hosting his malicious PDF file on a Web site.

You should download and apply all Microsoft security patches immediately and make sure your anti virus software is up to date.
