Howdy gang,

Happy to report that I built a cable for My FT-847 6 pin connector to my SCS PTC-IIex connection and copied and sent to FalconSat-3. I mainly used my SCS modem for Winlink and after some reading it also does Packet at 300 1200 9600 and 19200. Pinout on the Yaesu has a 1200 and 9600 so I wired both. Packet speed is changed in the Yaesu FT-847 Menu #23. I tested 1200 on ISS simplex with UISS/ SGATE and FalconSAT FULL Duplex Satellite Mode with TX on 145.840 and downlink on 435.100. What is nice is SATPC now changes the Doppler and and Pacsat Ground station is much happier. I used my Kenwood D-710GA in full duplex but I had to hook up the antennas every time I got on Falcon Sat then back to my FT-847.

I also tested my Signalink with the 9600 baud full duplex on the FT-847 and got it working correctly.

To wrap it up it will be nice not changing antennas any more and I am going to try the early Falconsat in the morning to see if it will run totally automated !!
