Hi Bruce,

I have been working on this design for more than two years. It took so long time because my free time is small, due to my dayly work. The goal was to get a linear transponder also available at areas where space and weight is little (with the 1 cell cubesat as a guidline).

At the moment I am working to get a few more of these transponders, and make it available for people/groups who are interrested. The design is very small and takes lot of time to get it fully assembled (with microscope and very small solder iron tip).

The transponder design itself is even smaller than you mentioned. It can fit on a 7cm x 7cm board (size of a MiniDisc casette) when needed. I have added some 1cm strip around it for mounting purposes, what makes it a 9cm x 9cm board, what should fit in a qubesat. The total circuit is made for 3.0V to 4.0Vdc supply, where a light weight 3.7V Li-ion or LiPo cell-phone battery will fit very well.

This appears to be a linear transponder on a 10cm x 10cm board. If this is true, hats off (again) to you!

Do you plan to make this available to any cubesat project that needs the hardware, or does it have a specific project in mind?
