Hi, I'm working on my own version of an AO-51 telemetry program and I'd like to be able to correctly identify the batteries in the battery tray by their assigned numbers.
Does anyone know the correct numbering of the batteries in the battery tray? For example, which battery is battery number one? number two? and so on up to six?
If you don't know what this is all about, you can see the AO-51 testing battery tray at
http://www.amsat.org/amsat-new/echo/integration.php
(scroll down to the sixth photo) and what is presumably the AO-51 flight battery tray is pictured at

and also a later picture of the flight battery tray is at this link (put it all on one line in your browser)

the latter apparently taken later since the "blue goop" appears in the same shapes but additional "white goop" has been added. :-)
So, how are the batteries numbered? Bonus points if you can identify what the colored "goops" are.
