Has anyone tried M2 loops 2m/70cm for use with satellite contacts. Main target is the SSB birds and yes on field day.

Very pricey and not at all ideal for ssb.
An Elk yagi will perform much better and at less cost

Ok, I get it lousy for the money, lousy for signal. I do have better stuff like circular beams, but just wanted a simple way to get my ONE contact. On 6/28/2014 1:24 PM, Ted wrote:

If you just need one contact, Floyd, you can probably do it with an HT. Look at Clint Bradford's site for some tutorial

Very happy with my M2 antennas. 42 element UHF 22 VHF both crossed element with pre amp
Grandpa always said "you get what you pay for" Why I use them and FT847 (2) and not some HT from the backyard.
