My fellow AMSATers: Both AZ and EL rotors have traveled to their full CW limit and seem to be locked and can not be budged. The control unit indicates full scale for each rotor, the control unit fuse is good. I would appreciate suggestions as to resolving a bad situation. Sorry if this is OT but I miss my friends on AO-51 L/US and V/S modes, ISS, FO's VO's. Well, you know what I mean. Thanks much, 73 Ron n6paa AMSAT #23760
Resolved. Problem was a common parallel to USB adapter cable does not work when connected between the SASI Sat Tracker and a USB port on my laptop. Before I knew what was happening, the G5500 slewed to the limits in both axis. In the mean time, I'm looking for a different interface to use between the G5500 control unit and computer USB ports. Uni-Trac maybe, if they're still available. Thanks for the bandwidth. 73, Ron n6paa #23760
