The CAMSAT XW-3 (CAS-9) satellite has been launched at UTC 03:11:31. Hams can try to receive CW beacon and GMSK telemetry signals and use linear transponder to make contact at approximately the following time and location.

The CW beacon is very loud here in EN51. Excellent job and congrats on the successful launch! I will try the transponder tomorrow.

The beacon was very loud here! I did work N0GVK tonight for my first QSO on this satellite. Transponder signals not as loud as the beacon, and it took me a while to find myself on the downlink. Congratulations on a successful launch and deployment!

The satellite sounded awesome here in EN00 in south central Nebraska with an almost overhead pass. Worked KE8RJU, K8DP, and AF5CC. What a great bird! Congratulations on an awesome job!

Doppler measurements show that XW 3 (CAS 9) is object 50466 (2021-131B). Frequency CW beacon: 435.57515 MHz.
