I am so sick and tired of bashing the cubesat community. At least they are putting satellites in orbit and they ARE licensed radio amateurs with the same access to the spectrum as all of us!

I am glad you favour HEOs. Good for you. At least the cubesat community does not bash and discriminate against your favourite satellite system. Any university and organization that puts up a cubesat is a winner for me. They are fun, challenging and use the spectrum. More power to them. I am glad AMSAT is moving along with Fox. Feel free to support the HEOs. My money is on the Cubesats.

One observation about "upgrading" from a prior version---when you restore the data, on the "Programs Menu" you will lose the new additions of the links to the DataBackup (and Timesynch) programs. This is mentioned in the "What's New.txt" file as follows:

5. The tool 'DataBackup' has been added to the list of programs that can be started from the SatPC32 menu 'Programs'."

I realized the programs listed in the "Programs" menu are user configurable, so it's no big deal. Just an FYI.

7. SuM now outputs a DDE string with azimuth and elevation, that can be

The registration code can be found on the 4th line of the file UserDaten.txt, either in c:\documents and settings\owner\application data\SatPC32 (XP) or c:\Users\owner\AppData\Roaming\SatPC32 (Vista/Win7) where "owner" is your username.

You can run the update on a registered version, and it will be registered. A good idea to put the registration info in a safe place, just in case, though Martha can generate it for you.
