30-6000 MHZ 13-BIT 2.5 MHZ BANDWIDTH TX/RX SDR HAT FOR THE RASPBERRY PI
I ran across this crowd funding project and thought it might be of some interest.

Hi Mike,
I am afraid this device is of no use for ham radio via satellite as it supports only half duplex operations.
Kind regards
Matthias

I would not be so quick to dismiss it:
1) Full duplex is not absolutely necessary, but is quite handy.
2) Two units could be combined for a full-duplex solution.

I have another view, I see the potential of this gadget for satellite use.
I'm working FM/SSB satellites now with a normal transceiver on TX, but RX is all done with a HackRF One SDR hardware. The pros are better that the cons on this case.
So, this setup with a tablet display (with touch) running GQRX, batteries, etc. Will be a nice portable satellite capable receiver, that can control your rotator, doppler/CAT, recording, etc.
IMHO, cheers, CO7WT.

Hi Mark,
yes, of course that is always possible, just like two FT-817s.
