This might be a First! While doing an RS-44 pass yesterday, a guy came begging me for $$. It was a tall tale of woe and sickness and hunger and need to get home for his Meds, etc. It was all caught on my logging recorder. He was happy with the $5 I gave him (I guess). I played it for my XYL and she said, "What the heck kind of place were you AT???". (A shopping center parking lot!) de Bob K8BL
Sounds like you were in an Indianapolis grocery parking lot! They are all over with the same story. -David, N9KT

Uh huh. Can't unfortunately tell which are real.
Really off-topic for AMSAT, but I'll leave it with a paraphrase of Maimonides: "The highest form of charity is to help sustain a person before they become impoverished by offering a substantial gift in a dignified manner, or by extending a suitable loan, or by helping them find employment or establish themselves in business so as to make it unnecessary for them to become dependent on others."
Great quote!
