satellite tracking problem (stb)
using the uni_trac 2003 control my icom 910h xcvr switches between vfo a and vfo b (via the split function in the radio when) I try to track the iss. Is there a known fix for this satellite and any other amateur radio satellites. I am having a problem with nova allowing the 2003 to tune the 910h radio as well as control the az el function of my g5500 rotors. I have talked with Mr. John Bealand just this week about these problems and his suggestion was to post them on the amsat-bb. help on how to overcome these problems is greatly appreciated, Al T. ____________________________________________________________ Penny Stock Jumping 3000% Sign up to the #1 voted penny stock newsletter for free today! http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL3141/4e5062613ba837a71c5st03vuc
I am not familiar with either Nova or the Uni-trac 2003, but I can say that split mode is the only way for the 910H to handle doppler a satellite such as the ISS with the uplink & downlink in the same band. For V/U and U/V satellites, it should put the uplink on the sub-band, while the downlink appears on the main band.
