I could use some help trouble shooting my only G5400B AZ rotor. I rebuilt the EL rotor years ago. I replaced the entire system with a 5000 at home and now use this old 5400 at the summer place. The AZ just quite working. I suspect it's a bad pot but could use some guideance in troubleshooting as I don't have access to my notes from the EL rebuild years ago. What measurements should I see at the controller interface?
Good thing we are going home in a week! Rick, W2JAZ
Pull the manual. Should see 2.5(I see 0)-5 volts at either control box. One is a repeat of the other.
Does it rotate?
Good luck.
