If this is true, the last thing I am worried about is DX, I saw a tv show that talked about the mini ice age in the 1800's and they mentioned the cause was a lack of solar activity. Time to be cutting a lot of wood and buying more blankets if this is going to go on for 2 decades. The show had to be on Discovery or History channel.
I haven't googled this(yet), but there has to be a trend and when did the decline start(sunspots)?
If we are headed towards a mini ice age, time to get rid of the hybreds and start burning more fossel fuels

Jeremy,
Call???
The connection between sunspot activities and planetary temperatures is hotly debated. There is LOTS of information out there on it. I was just commenting on the ham aspects, as some of the others quickly lead to highly political, and politicized, issues.

PS I already have lots of stacked wood. ;)

Did Al Gore have anything to do with this?
The Chinese, in order to damage the Japanese HF transceiver market, sent a rocket into the Sun full of spot remover.
