Has anyone been able to copy XW-2F via 9600 or 19200 baud FSK on 145.955? Is this satellite active during eclipse?
Thanks

Tony,
The XW-2 satellites ride the terminator and have not yet seen an eclipse in their nearly 90 days in orbit. There are batteries on board and I don't see any reason to suspect that they won't be active during eclipses, but the first one is several months away.
The digital telemetry modulation is GMSK, not FSK, and only at 9600 baud on XW-2F (and the apparently inoperable XW-2E,2A-2D have 19.2k capability). I have not decoded it, but I have heard the signals and they are quite loud.

I have successfully decoded telemetry from one of the XW-2 satellites (I don't recall which one).
I used direwolf set for 9600bps. Probably any software modem for 9k6 AX.25 FSK will work (even though the telemetry is technically GMSK).
