Have just tried to work AO-16 on my 2109Z pass and heard nothing. I tried a few days ago with the same results. Is AO-16 now in operational or is it that someone has not been able to switch it on or reload the MBL?

AO-16 is resetting almost every orbit now. The command team members have been trying to restart the satellite as often as possible, but jobs and families sometimes keep that from happening. This is especially difficult with AO-16 given the times the satellite is overhead in the early AM and during work hours.
If the satellite continues to last an orbit or so between shutdowns, unlike this summer where it only lasted minutes, we may implement some options to automatically restart it. I think this might be possible based on eclipse lengths, as the reset problem is temperature dependent. Until then it is on an as available basis.

Thanks Drew. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't me. I've having trouble using my omni's that are not meant for satellites especially on SO-50 not hearing well. This confirms what I thought. Keep up the good work. Obviously, I "really" need to get the arrays back up that have been down since the "storms" of 2004.
