The M2 LEO antennas are designed to be end-mounted and M2 has no idea how they'll perform if mid-mounted as they aren't designed for that. Hence, my counterbalance scheme.

I did not balance mine in the current install. I did move the mounting brackets on the boom when I had the A40 dish on the main boom to help with balance.

Sorry I thought those were the bigger M2 versions. YES I would add some type of counterbalance to those units.
