Need help with Sat32PC & Icom 7000/7100
In particular, under Setup > radio setup > Addresses 1. What values to use? 2. What does “Address OK” do? Thanks, Butch K8KO occamrazr yahoo.com
Hi Butch, With the IC-7000 the default address is $70 (= hex 70) as far as I know. The IC-7100 has no own item in the 'Model' list in the setup menu. Choose the compatible IC-7000. Of course, the address must be the one of the IC-7100. You will find it in the manual in the chapter about the CAT commands. The examples usually use the address of the particular radio.
With the up/down controls you can changes the address values (first for Downlink, second for uplink). With a single radio both values must be equal.
The "Address Ok" button transfers the values to the data file. To save the settings click the "Store" button.
