The AMSAT.ORG computer has been upgraded and moved to a new location (still on the UCSD campus). The new location required that a new IP address be assigned. The transition should theoretically be seamless, but some users may have trouble until their network's DNS servers take notice of the update.
Unless your network admin has done something unusual, any problems should clear up by themselves within a few days at most.
Please report any ongoing problems to me (kb5mu@amsat.org or paul@mustbeart.com if the problem prevents email from getting through to amsat.org).

The server was moved to a new location, and the IP address changed. You might have better luck by flushing your DNS (`ipconfig -flushdns` I believe), or by going straight to the IP ( http://169.228.66.5/amsat-new/index.php).

Is anyone else having issues reaching www.amsat.org today? I get a Server could not be found error ... traceroute shows it dying ...
Getting to amsat.org works for me this morning.
Yesterday evening between 1800 through perhaps 2200 Central time I could get to amsat.org on the PC that uses OpenDNS but the laptop running the default Comcast DNS gave me the server not found error. Both DNS are working now over here.

I find it still not working for me either.

Mike (and others),
Is anyone else having issues reaching www.amsat.org today? I get a Server could not be found error.
No problems from here in the Phoenix AZ area, using two 3G mobile-phone networks (AT&T, T-Mobile) and two wired ISPs (AT&T via T1s, Cox Cable via 15Mbps fiber). E-mails through this list have been coming in without any apparent delay.
