HamSatDroid Version 0.8 (SDP4)
Hi,
We are pleased to announce that we've released a new version of the app!
This now uses my Java port of John Magliacane's Predict SDP4 to support the elliptical orbit CubeSats to be launched on VEGA.
The app is free and is available for download from the Android Marketplace.

Cool,
just wondering which Android tablet people are using and what is their experience in portable use.

It is actually pretty nice on my Samsung driod phone. I hope later the map will be able to go full screen and/or landscape.
Works well!

I have tried it on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 and my wife's Kindle Fire. It runs ok on both but is setup for smartphones and looks a bit sad on a tablet. It is early days and I am sure they will re-work the user interface. I do not want a phone that is smarter than me so I do not have a smartphone. I find using a small laptop (Windows 7 Netbook) running SatPC32 the best solution for me at this time. For me it is more convenient using the same program at home and portable.
