Is anyone using N3FJP's ACLog for satellite contacts and uploading to LoTW? I'm trying to figure out what I need to change in the log so I can properly import my satellite contacts and then upload them to LoTW.

That is a great question. I also use N3FJP's software and want to be able to upload my satellite QSL's as well. He has been very helpful with questions in the past. I will email him tomorrow to see if he can help us.

Paul, He is EXTREMELY helpful and I'd recommend his software to ANYONE!
I already contacted him about this problem and told me to just use one of the "other" fields for the satellite. I renamed it satellite but there is still a disconnect between ACLog and LoTW. I ended up manually modifying my satellite log using TQSL (which is a major pain!). After I did that I uploaded the contacts into LoTW with no problems. When I imported that "fixed" data into ACLog but none of the satellite data showed up (the contact information did but not the satellite name or freq information or propagation type).
I'm not sure of the exact resolution to this but maybe N3FJP would be able to remedy this in the next version. I feel like you would need a drop-down list of the satellites as if you don't put them in exactly right then the contact didn't happen.

Yeah, you have to dedicate one of the "Other" fields to the satellite name. That's the way I set mine up.
A Google search turned up this how-to from AMSAT-ANS: http://www.amsat.org/amsat/news/ans2003/ans03271.html#06
Also note you need to adhere to satellite names in a specific format. Here is a list:

Okay, at least that showed the field name for the satellite (which would explain why it wasn't working for me). It would be nice if ACLog would have a drop down with all the satellite names in it and would automatically populate the Prop_Mode, RX_Band and Band fields appropriately for each satellite. This would make it completely seamless...

Eric,
Speak to Scott, I am sure he can do something ahead of the next version update
