Best TNC For Satellite Use?
Hello!
What TNC are folks using these days to work FalconSat 9600 baud? I see Symek is no longer in business. Are there any recommendations or will any 9600 baud TNC suffice?
I'm also wondering if my registered copy of WiSP will run under Windows 7?

Paul,
WISP will run under Windows 7. It has some quirks but it is good software. Shout it you need help setting it up.
I'm using an old DPK-9600 TNC and it works well. The TNC needs to support 9600 baud GMSK. I don't know if that means all will work. I had to fiddle with it a bit to get it setup. It was not quite plug and play, but not far from it.
That said, there are software only solutions, so if you do not already have a TNC collecting dust on a shelf (as I did) you might want to use software. There is advice here: http://www.qsl.net/py4zbz/falconsat.htm which is very clear once you run google translate on the page.
