nasabare catalog is malformed
Hello,
Please remove the extra lines from the nasabare.txt catalog: https://www.amsat.org/amsat/ftp/keps/current/nasabare.txt
(it is messing with various libraries trying to load the file)
~pierros
I don't see any extra lines.

Looks normal to me as well. No extra lines..
The problem, perhaps, lies with this satellite with the @ character in its name. e-st@r-II Replace the "@" character with the "a" character and everything seems to work fine. Lucio, I0LYL

Looks fine to me.
Are you sure it isn't a CR/LF conversion problem on your end?

I have Ben a life member for a while so I would say no. I will have to create a new user. I figured since I get the emails through Google aka gmail, I would have used gmail but when I try that I get server error so you must have issues with google. But either way I will create a user tomorrow assuming I can find the instructions

The file contains 623 lines, with the last two being empty. By the way, 623 is not divisible by 3, which should be for a 3LE file.
Cheers,

Pierros, You should indicate which program you are having trouble with. It is true, there are 623 lines, the file ends with a LF and an empty line but this does not involve particular problems. Again, the problem is with the program and how it reads the keps inside the file. When the program "understands" that the keps are finished. Lucio, I0LYL
Hi,
The file has 622 and not 623. The line count is *not* the number you see in your editor when moving to the end of the file.
Nevertheless, 622 is still not dividable by 3 as mentioned. The lines should have been 621 and the LF line should be removed if we want to be strict with the format.
Cheers, Sv1IYO

The program that is broken by an extra blank line at the end of the TLE file is a poor program, indeed.
Perhaps fixing the routines which parse the file would be a more robust solution?
