Yes, I have been the recipient of many requests for assistance to get SATPC32 functioning, however, it is never the programs fault-it is 99% of the time - the users inability to get their computer operating- Sounds like a Bill Gates problem to me. Anyway, please enjoy the fruits of many hours of people that volunteer behind the scenes to get satellites in orbit and functioning. Let us see to it that our toys in space are funded. If you're going to give advice and there is a reasonable choice then give that person the choice, not dictate yours. I personally don't like SATPC32 and prefer Instanttrack. Judging by the number of queries we get here from people who can't get
SATPC32 to work, it's probably not the best choice for a beginner.

Seriously? Maybe you should go outside, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy life. You're getting way too riled up about something that's in the larger scheme of things not worth it. What is your problem? Why do you feel you need to tell people what to do? And even more why do you believe that just because they don't agree with your choice of a certain tool they don't support the efforts of AMSAT? Do you track the donations by name and have a list?

Mike, You are correct of course. I don't tell people what to do. I suggest as in the suggested donations to AMSAT support. Excuse me, I have to go outside and breathe now..Good Luck and I am on your side as well. Everyone has an opinion, and if we choose not to listen, we will not learn from mistakes. Since I am a local coordinator for AMSAT, I am the guy that meets the masses at Hamfests and listens... Believe me, they have unloaded on me since I am standing in front of them at that moment. Since I am retired, I have time now to assist with things I have left to others. Be good and again, enjoy the sats. This is the end of the hobby I have a passion for.
