I have heard plenty of negative posts to the Hygain. What are the alternate choices? I am still looking for circular polarization.. and able to switch.

If I had it to do over again I would go with Gulf Alpha. I have his dual band and it is the most rugged antenna I have seen. Truly superior construction. When I was buying he was not selling, but he has gotten back into the OSCAR antenna business.
