Greetings,
On Monday, October 9th, I will be giving a presentation at the Richardson (Texas) Wireless Klub on how to get started communicating through amateur satellites. I will focus particularly on the FM transponder satellites. After the presentation, I'll present a live demonstration, weather permitting, by working the 0119 UTC (October 10th) pass of SO-50. I will be using my call sign, AE5PH, for all QSOs and I'll still be in grid square EM12. I hope to hear you Monday evening!

All,
The satellite presentation and live demo at the Richardson Wireless Klub went very well. Had at least forty attendees and about half of them stayed for the live demo. Thanks to Fernando NP4JV, Glenn AA5PK, Jim K5ND, Bert XE1HG, Christy KB6LTY, Edward KK9EJ, Matthew KG5HVL, John K8YSE, Jerry N0JY, and Virgilio HP2VX for the QSOs during the pass. This was a personal best for the number of QSOs I've done on a single pass (ten!). I also got a new grid square in the deal (EN60). I had a blast!
