I happened to see this while looking for something else on Twitter, which I do not log into and rarely look at.

Raise a grand for GOLF! An anonymous donor has offered to match the first ten contributions of $50 over the next three days to AMSAT’s GOLF program. Donate today at https://amsat.org/donations/amsat-golf-program-donations/
So, donate away!
(This underscores why it is important not to prioritize social-media platforms over the mailing list.)

Thanks for this note, Zach. I figured that something like that must have been happening. The web server sends me messages when various things happen, usually bad news like low disk space, heavy server load etc. So when I saw my inbox full of messages I was concerned that something was broken. But no! The server was reporting that it was happily processing a bunch of $50 donations.
Readers are urged to continue this webserver stress test by sending more and larger donations.

I try to keep Zach enthusiastic about making donations. Every time he needs to order GOLF parts I tell him "hey, it's about time for another of your generous donations to AMSAT isn't it?" I call it the EZ Payroll Deduction Donation. EZ for me, mainly... hihi
Yes, all donations are appreciated! No matter the amount you can share, every component counts.
