A Proton-M rocket failed this morning after launch from Baikonur in Kazakhstan. A reminder to us that launches can and do fail.

It was carrying three Glonass satellites which I believe were planned, like the others, to operate across 1602.5625-1615.5 MHz and 1240-1260 MHz.
