I'm currently considering another /mm activation of a hard to reach California grid, this time it's CM79. I see that there have been land expeditions in the past but the area is not very conducive to working satellites. Heavy tree cover and rugged land make it challenging to get to and operate from. Working from the coast isn't an option as the land is very steep leaving only really high passes and keeping a lot of people out of the footprint.
That said, I think I've found enough excuses to need to go /mm again. There seems to be at least one charter out of Shelter Cove just north of CM79 that could potentially get me into a good spot to work the grid properly. Before I invest too much effort into researching my options I would like to know how much interest there is in this grid. I know several ops on twitter are lacking it in their logs but I would like to reach a larger audience to see who is interested. Let me know if this is something people would be interested in.
