Hi!
Thanks to all who called and worked K7UGA on 4 different passes today - an SO50 pass, two AO27 passes, and an AO7 pass. There was a large Friday crowd at the Yuma hamfest, which is also the ARRL Southwestern Division Convention this year. An even larger crowd is expected tomorrow.
I have to give a special thank-you to several members of Red Digital del Noroeste (Northwest Digital Network), a radio club based in Mexicali, Baja California, an hour west of Yuma. They have helped greatly with my demonstrations and manning the AMSAT table in the main hall. They will be back with me tomorrow. You can read more about this club at http://www.xe2dnn.org (use a site like http://translate.google.com/ if you don't read Spanish to translate the site)
I hope to work several passes during the day tomorrow. Please call K7UGA if you hear me on those passes The hamfest ends at 5pm (0000 UTC) tomorrow afternoon, followed by a big barbecue dinner. :-) I also have more videos that I will post on YouTube in a few days from the hamfest.
