Satellite frequency assignment
How are frequencies chosen or assigned for new amateur satellites? Is there a coordinating committee or some guide line? I'm interested in the vhf uplink and uhf downlink.

Thats an easy question. The IARU does it. see http://www.iaru.org/satellite/ for details. On that page you'll find a link to a list of sats and their coordinated frequencies, etc
