An inexpensive solution is the FD ST1 kit. See my mini-review here in the archives and also

It uses the EasyComm interface.

What do I need to connect my G-5400B to my computer in order to automate satellite antenna tracking?
I'm current using Ham Radio Deluxe. I've heard of the LVB tracker, and the GS-232 but I wonder if there is a cheaper or easier solution, being that the software program now does a lot of the functions (or so I believe it does).

That appears to be the consensus. Now is that GS-232 compatible? Or does it only work with certain programs? Perhaps those questions are already answered in your review, I'll look for it. I use HRD, and am trying out SATPC32.
Thanks for everyone's suggestions. Now if only I could find a really accurate way of initially pointing my antennas, but that's another matter. Sometimes the program will tell me to point it at say 310 degrees, but I might find I have a better signal at 300, or perhaps 320.

Hi,
HRD's SatTrack will support the GS0232 for AZ/EL this next week sometime.

Just when I thought I had made my mind up!
So guys, what is the most popular interface that emulates a GS-232 for my G-5400B? Will the Foxdelta that many have recommended emulate the GS-232? Or would it be the FODTRACK?
Sorry to keep asking the same question again, but I just want to make sure I get the correct interface, perhaps that isn't even an issue if the settings will be able to change in HRD ------ Simon help me!
