Hello I am getting erratic direction readings from my 5400 az rotor. I am sure it is the pot for the direction. Has anyone done sugery on this unit. Wha should I do and not do. thanks 73 Bob W7LRD Seattle

If you end up cracking open the case of the rotator to get to the internal pot, be certain you have the rotator over or in a tub or similar container. You WILL have bearings dropping out and following Newton's Law of Selective Gravitation, they will head for the most inaccessible places.
