Hi Alan,
XW-1 is extra-ordinary stable with its CW Beacon.
Using the current kepler set, I can set the filter of my Kenwood TS2000 to 50Hz, and XW-1 stays nicely within during the entire pass (15..20 minutes). Well done !
This is just 55 seconds: http://www.pa3guo.com/ho68_cw_beacon_21dec09_1008utc_pa3guo.mp3

Hi Henk,
Thanks for the recording,. Are you using an automatic Doppler shift compensation? At what resolution? I cant hear the tuning steps.

Hi David
I use HamRadioDeluxe. It non-stop tunes my TS2000 (at least) in 10Hz steps, maybe even smaller, but I cannot see that on the display.

1Hz steps - I'll look out for you over the next days as the times fit in with my dog-walking schedules :)

Hallo satboys,
HO68 (XW-1) linear transponder is great. I worked ST2NH, ON, I, F, OE, SP, and G The max elivation was 67° and i had to reduce the power from 30°. I heard distortion on full power. I could work the sat from 1° elevation with the 8 el horizontal polarisation.
This is a great job from the Chinees hams. Congrats.

Yes it is working Great,
The pass (20:49 CEST) started with the following telemetry:
BJ1SA XW XW TTT TTA AUT TTT ETT U44 VAT BET E6T U4T ETT TTT TTT XW XW
After that I switched to Transponder mode and made some fine QSO's with amateurs all over Europe. A couple of these QSO's are recorded. Download the following file if you want to listen to these QSO's with:
DC8TS, SV1EEK, SQ7DQX, DK1TB, ON4HF and OZ1MY
