Hello all....
Well, after a long hiatus this summer, I have been finding the time again to work the satellites.
However, last night's AO-51 pass had me rather dismayed....I could barely hear it at 45 degrees for a pass. Has the power level for 51 been reduced, and if so, what is she running?
Thanks all, and see you again this Autumn.

Hi,
The AO-51 config was changed to help with the commisioning of the GENSO groundstation at the ESA International Space University in Strasbourg over the past three days
You can find the details at:

Hello John,
AO-51 was changed into mode V/SU Monday night to assist our friends at GENSO in testing a new station setup.
You can check the current mode of AO-51 at http://www.amsat.org/amsat-new/echo/CTNews.php
We are just entering a no eclipse period and since I can't get telemetry while in this mode, I needed to reduce the power of TXB so that the total power was equal to the power being used by TXA and TXB just before the mode change.
TXB is running about 380 mW, Sunday it was 600 mW. I will be switching back to V/U analog and L/U digital mode to night on a US east coast pass.
