I too have fond memories of Wilse WX7P. I first worked him on December 3, 2005. He was very active on the FM birds from 2005 through 2008. My last contact with Wilse was on September 20, 2012.

I had several QSOs with him over AO-27, SO-50, AO-51, and HO-68 from 2009 to 2011.
I remember hearing him lots of times on '51 during passes in the late local afternoons and the early evenings. He was usually one of the last stations from the Lower 48 that was still on the air as the bird headed towards Alaska. His ID of "Whiskey X-ray Seven Papa" was hard to miss.
