Request for AMSAT members
The 2025 HamCation in Orlando, Florida (Feb. 7 -9) is just around the corner and another record-breaking crowd ofvendors and attendees is expected this year. Along with popular amateur radiovendors, it’s hard to beat the enormous tailgate area and the fabulous forumsthat are planned.
As usual, AMSAT will also be onhand and we could sure use your help this year. If last year's 25,321 attendeesare any indication of what's ahead, we would greatly appreciate our AMSATmembers who plan to attend to also share at least 2 to 4 hours of your timehelping at the AMSAT booth. It’s very important to our hobby that we spend timeintroducing fellow hams to what amateur satellites are all about and helpingthose who maybe having problems getting on the air.
So if you would like to join us at the AMSATbooth or have any questions about helping out, please contact David Jordan,AA4KN at [email protected].
BTW, the average temp. for Orlando inFebruary is usually a high around 75deg. and low around 54 deg.
... hard tobeat that!!
