Does such a document exist? If yes, can somebody point me to where I can download it? Just acquired a used one and such a manual could come in handy for when I can't put it back together after refurbing bearings, etc. Thanks.

Hey Roy,
I just found the installing instructions somewhere, but can't find them atm!
But: I bought a used G-5400B about two years ago and it has done more than 10k observations on my SatNOGS station #37 now. It was laying around for about 15 years before I bought it and for sure was used a while.
It is still working and the only issues I am now dealing with are at the controller box.
