Space Today Online article
Here's an article in a recent Space Today Online page that I came across, and has a good positive for Hamsats and their acomplishments.
http://www.spacetoday.org/Satellites/Hamsats/HamsatsBasic.html
Note there are several pages, not just this one and the tab is in the left hand margin.

Well, sorry.......that article is no longer available on Space Today website. I found it in a piece by KB0ASQ . Even so, it was a good article, but noted later it was abit dated as of 2006. Oh well......at least it was a try.......

John and all.
In response to your second post about the page no longer being available....
The article is still there, but there is one letter missing from the URL you posted. It should be HamsatsBasics.html at the very end.
Try this link - it should work:
http://www.spacetoday.org/Satellites/Hamsats/HamsatsBasics.html
73 to all,
