Is AO-07 mode hopping or stuck in one mode at the present? On 14 July 2012; at 23:55 UDT, I just had a nice 40 degree high pass and heard nothing on 145 MHz. Me or the bird?

Hi Tom, It switches between mode-A and mode-B now since it is in sun all the time.
Today (15th July) it is in mode-B.
It seems to switch approximately at 0300 UTC each day.

Checking the web page at http://oscar.dcarr.org/ is the best indication/predictor of mode A/B operation I've found.

Thanks for the replies! I had forgotten about the dcarr.org site and that is just what I needed. It appears it was in mode A on the pass in question. Now I need to repair my antennas from the wind storm last nite :( and I will be back.
