Can the IC 9700 operate L band up and V band down? The manual implies only L up and U down. Or the more general question, and L be used for TX and RX with either of the other bands.

Hello Jim Yes that mode works. L band up and VHF down. Seems you can select any up and down that you like. David G0MRF
