The launch of amateur radio satellite HORYU-2 takes place Thursday, May 17 at 1639 UT.
The satellite callsign is JG6YBW and radio amateurs are asked to listen for the 437.325 MHz telemetry downlink which is in Morse Code or 1200 bps AX.25 packet radio.
There is a monthly competition for those who send data received from the telemetry to the KIT server, via the HORYU-2 telemetry analysis software.
