Greetings all!
Recently, I announced that I was bringing on a total of five developers to help us with our development backlog. In fact, I've got six developers on-boarded now.
I'm going to assign one of these developers to the Satellite application.
After the last go 'round on this reflector, I had some volunteers. I need a couple volunteers - who understand how to demonstrate and test the Doppler problem - that I can introduce to the developer. The developer should work directly with these people.
A few things to keep in mind:
- The focus will be entirely on correction of previously recorded defects (not enhancement requests at this point). If new defects are identified during the process, the developer will discuss them with me (so I can determine if it's really a defect or an enhancement; we'll get to the FOUR existing enhancement requests after we get the defects corrected). - There are exactly 19 defects associated with the Satellite application. - The developer assigned probably won't be a ham. That's fine. They don't really need to be a ham to resolve these defects. (Point I'm making here is this. These guys are "hired guns" that I'm bringing in as part of this "troop surge" to get rid of the backlog. They're good developers, rather than experienced hams. So take it easy on them.)
Interested volunteers, please contact me directly (outside the reflector) at mike@hrdsoftwarellc.com

Great news, Mike. Thanks for stepping up on this !!
There are some pretty sharp minds on this board, so I trust you will get some great volunteers (since the 'great mind' part does not include me, I can't volunteer !)
