On the 440 side during a 45-degree pass, there can be almost a 10kHZ deviation - well, plus or minus about 5kHZ from center - that must be accommodated for the Doppler effect.

So either of those two (actually BOTH) could/should be programmed on your receive side, along with a few more to accommodate Doppler.
