I have tried the latest version of HRD, the standalone sat tracking program runs under wine with ubuntu linux i haven't tried the latest version of HRD itself with linux had very limited operation to not running at all with prior releases cheers Peter VK4KHP
HRD doesn't work with Wine - and although I would like to get it working the debugging process is horrendous.

Hi,
When using HRD Satellite tracking, is there a wy to select multiple satellites in one screen? I am unable to find that option :S
73's PE0SAT
Yes,
Open a Track window for each satellite you are interested in, then in one window select the 'All Tracks' option.
I came up with this idea as a simple way to switch between the satellites.
Next beta in a few days...

I'm not one for anything remotely related to MrSoftee, but the HRD might better (!) work with VirtualBox running XP under Ubuntu Linux.
Bye for now, John
rue but if you've got to purchase a copy of XP to install in Virtualbox, you might as well just install it to a clean partition and forget about the virtualisation problems.

I run HRD with XP-pro on vmware server 1.0.6 with Ubuntu 8.04 as host. Very happy with it. Most applications I have tried under wine caused headaches. I couldn't imagine the time and 'headaches' involved with the debugging process.
Simon, your work is much appreciated! Thank You
