In my only 30 or so years of playing and testing stuff, I have come to the conclusion if one sticks with the major manufacturers (Smiley, Comet, Diamond, Maldol) that testing antennas for use on their intended bands is a waste of time.

With that said, snag yourself a Smiley 270 - available in Male BNC and Male or Female SMA. Out-performs HT antennas twice its price.
