Has anyone tried the Icom preamps? I was planning on getting the pair. I have the 910H and just want to hear a little better, for the cost of course.

i have a 910, its reciever is weak witout the preamps. i use all 3, 2, 440 and 1.2

Last i checked, Icom doesn't publish their performance specs, which means they likely have a high noise figure. I think you would be better off buying the SSB or ARR pre-amps.
