Hi, 60 day predictions on the Space-Track web site has ARISSat-1 object 37772 re entering 30th December. Based on the posts on this topic from Nico, Roland and James, and my calculations, I think we have a bit longer. But only a few days. 73 John G7HIA
At 2110Z had a 70+ degree pass. ARRISSat appeared to be in low power mode, but the doppler correction was aproximately 1 KHz off even with less than day old keps. When the telemetry beacon came on it never appeared to come out of idle mode and no telemetry was decoded.

At 2244 had a 22 degree pass with strong signals on the HO loop. The highest temperature was the -A PPT6 panel temp at 74 deg C. RF temp was 58 C which is less then the 60+ observed yesterday. Satellite was in high power mode the entire pass.
Keps were only a half day old, but I still had to do some tweaking to keep the telemetry in the decoder's bandpass.

At 2055Z today had a 77 deg pass. Highest temp was the -Z PPT 6 panel temp at 88 C. Yesteday it was temp was 74 C. RF temp was 57 C which is one degree cooler than observed yesterday.
Keps were only 0.7 days old, but still had to manually chase the signal when it was near predicted TCA.

During the 2229Z pass today, max el 17 deg, the -Z PPT 6 panel temp was "-1". Wondering if this is a sensor failure from high temperature? Last pass it was 88 C.
The highest panel temp was +Z PPT 3 at 68 C. RF temp was 65 C compared to last pass when it was 57 C.

Hi Ken,
I don't think so--based on the live telemetry page showing "real" temp values time stamped about an hour ago...
